As a Physical Therapy Assistant, you will administer quality physical therapy services following treatment plans to help patients restore function and maximize their potential. This role involves delivering treatments, educating patients, and collaborating with healthcare professionals in a supportive and organized environment.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver physical therapy treatments to patients of various ages
Teach patient care classes and participate in clinics as needed
Communicate treatment outcomes to therapists and physicians
Complete all chart documentation
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment
Demonstrate professional competency through continuing education
Required Qualifications
Graduate of accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
Basic knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and pathology appropriate to PTA
Successful completion of clinical internships
High School Diploma or GED
Physical Therapist Assistant License (Oregon)
Basic Life Support certification within 2 months of hire
Basic skills in PT procedures and treatment, use of modalities, documentation skills
Preferred Qualifications
One year of clinic experience in a comparable setting
