Key Responsibilities
Provide educational leadership to enhance specialized patient care
Assess quality of care for specific patient populations
Coordinate and implement orientation of nursing staff
Develop individualized orientation programs
Plan and implement annual competencies
Monitor trends and implement educational strategies
Participate in teaching and coaching of staff nurses and healthcare professionals
Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop standards of care
Required Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
Current Registered Nurse license in Connecticut
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
At least five years of progressive experience in clinical practice, nursing education, or nursing management
Preferred Qualifications
Master's Degree in Nursing
Basic certification in Education or Critical Care Nursing
