Schedule: 3x12s | Every Other Weekend (EOW)
Contract Length: 13 weeks (91 days)
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hrs/week

Start: Based on onboarding/compliance timeline

  • 24 Adult
  • 12 Geriatric
• Patient Ratio: 1:6
• Trauma Level: N/A
• EHR: Cerner
• Supervisor: Nicki Harris

Position Details

• Specialty: Psychiatric / Behavioral Health Nursing
• Role: RN
• Float: Required between Adult and Geriatric behavioral health units
• Environment: Crisis stabilization unit with focus on therapeutic milieu

Required Qualifications

• Experience:
  • Minimum 3 years acute behavioral health nursing
  • Skilled in verbal de-escalation and emergency physical intervention
• Certifications:
  • AHA BLS (CPR) – Required
  • Handle With Care – Preferred
• Education: ADN or Diploma in Nursing
• Charting: Cerner experience strongly preferred

Preferred Skills

• Milieu management with therapeutic techniques
• Experience with:
  • MDD (Major Depressive Disorder)
  • Bipolar Disorder
  • Schizophrenia / Schizoaffective Disorder
  • Substance Use Disorders (SUD)
  • Dementia-related behaviors
