Join DMC Huron Valley-Sinai Hospital as a CT Technologist where you will play a vital role in delivering quality diagnostic imaging services. You will work under general supervision, performing CT exams and ensuring patient safety while providing exceptional care.
Perform diagnostic CT exams utilizing appropriate imaging equipment. Verify patient identity and review medical records for appropriateness of exam. Interview patients to obtain and verify medical history and assess risk factors. Explain procedures to patients, including risks and benefits. Set up equipment and acquire appropriate images. Review images and document exceptions from established protocols. Recognize and respond to medical emergencies. Provide post care instructions to patients. Participate in process improvement activities within radiology practice. Provide imaging education to residents and new employees. Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) in Radiology (R) or Computed Tomography (CT) preferred. American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider (BLS) training. One or more years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) in Radiology or advanced certification in Computed Tomography (CT) Up to $15,000 Sign on Bonus based on relevant experience
