Job Description
Join XPO as a Local Business Development Executive, where you will identify new customers, grow your account base, and support regional sales efforts. This role is ideal for individuals with a competitive spirit and a strong desire to succeed.
Key Responsibilities
Identify new customers in local and regional markets
Grow account base and work with regional team for customer development
Support customer needs in overall regional territory
Work with sales support staff for administrative support and customer satisfaction
Develop relationships within customer organizations
Align with local service center for customer acquisition and growth strategy
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work or military experience
Competitive nature with a hunter mentality
Strong desire to succeed
Solid time management and organizational skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Available and flexible to work evenings and weekends
Preferred Qualifications
2 years of professional sales experience
2 years of experience in transportation or Less Than Truckload (LTL)
Experience with Microsoft Office (PowerPoint)
Experience working with enterprise Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools
