Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Gather and audit medical records from providers
  • Analyze, track, and report results
  • Recommend and implement quality improvement plans
  • Review and audit medical records for compliance
  • Educate providers on medical record documentation
  • Maintain HIPAA requirements
  • Identify quality of care issues and refer for further action

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Active and unrestricted LPN license in Arizona
  • 3+ years of experience in the Medicaid health field
  • 2+ years of experience reviewing medical record charts/documentation
  • Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Teams
  • Reliable transportation for field visits
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% throughout Arizona
  • Reside in Arizona

Preferred Qualifications

  • Background in Managed Care
  • Field-based work experience
  • Experience creating quality improvement plans
  • Experience helping providers comply with health plan standards
  • Knowledge of EVV and HCBS
  • Knowledge of Medicaid benefit products and state regulations
  • Proven solid organizational skills
