Job Description

Join Staples as a Customer Sales Account Manager, where you'll drive revenue growth by building relationships with prospective customers in the public sector and commercial markets. This remote role requires strategic thinking, strong communication skills, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic sales environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive new revenue from customers in the public sector and commercial market
  • Build territory strategy and analyze performance
  • Qualify prospects and route opportunities
  • Schedule and conduct in-person meetings with prospects
  • Utilize marketing collateral for presentations
  • Attend conferences and events to represent Quill
  • Create custom pricing solutions for high growth customers
  • Facilitate smooth transitions to the account management team
  • Meet and exceed quotas and key metrics
  • Maintain accurate records in CRM
  • Continuously improve through coaching
  • Work collaboratively with sales leadership and peers

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 5+ years sales experience
  • 6 months relevant experience in the public sector
  • Ability to cover a territory of New York City and surrounding areas

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or a related field
  • Proven business development experience
