Job Description

Join ECHN as a Behavioral Health Clinician and make a significant impact on patient care by providing essential clinical services in a supportive community hospital environment. Collaborate with a dedicated team to enhance employee engagement and patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide direct and indirect age-appropriate clinical services for substance use and psychiatric services
  • Conduct crisis and intake assessments
  • Facilitate individual, group, and family therapy
  • Develop and modify treatment plans
  • Participate in clinical team meetings
  • Ensure compliance with documentation and reporting requirements
  • Make referrals to community resources as needed

Required Qualifications

  • Master's degree
  • Connecticut licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate (LPCA) OR Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) OR Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) OR Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) OR Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Training in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT)
  • Familiarity with abuse and neglect reporting
  • Knowledge of community-based resources
  • Experience with pre-authorization and billing processes
