Key Responsibilities
Administer and interpret tests to determine hearing impairment
Evaluate test results and medical records to determine the cause of hearing loss
Conduct otoscopic examinations and calibration checks of audiometric equipment
Lead training for paraprofessional staff in audiology-specific skills
Required Qualifications
Doctorate Degree in Audiology (Au. D) from an accredited college or university
5+ years of clinic practice experience
Currently licensed Audiologist in state employed with unrestricted license
American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and/or American Academy of Audiology (AAA) certification
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Compensation and Pension Examination
Experience with hearing conservation programs and/or noise conservation programs
