Job Description
Join AMR as a Paramedic and deliver high-quality patient care in emergency situations. Utilize advanced medical equipment, drive ambulances, and work collaboratively with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
Utilize medical equipment and procedures to provide advanced medical care
Drive the ambulance and provide map reading support
Maintain required certifications
Communicate with dispatcher regarding call data and feedback
Monitor and maintain ambulance cleanliness and equipment
Document patient care and billing activities
Follow policies regarding response and turnaround times
Consider patient status for transportation destinations
Work collaboratively with health and public safety personnel
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
Current state Paramedic License
Valid State Driver’s License
Current BCLS, ACLS, PALS or PEPP, BTLS or PHTLS Provider Certification (where applicable)
Driving record in compliance with AMR Safety and Driving policy
