Job Summary | ||
Seasonal (summer) team members are responsible for completing live operations research project(s) and performing tasks on farms associated with live operations and veterinary services. | ||
Key Responsibilities | ||
1. Conduct live operations research 2. Assess health status of commercial turkeys 3. Assist in spray vaccinating turkeys 4. Follow all company regulations pertaining to biosecurity, animal welfare and safety. 5. All other duties assigned by supervisor/management

Minimum Qualifications | ||
1. No birds at their home in any capacity; no contact with birds outside of work 2. High School Diploma 3. A valid Arkansas Driver’s License and an acceptable motor vehicle driving record 4. Reliable transportation 5. Must be at least eighteen (18) years old 6. Must be eligible to work legally in the United States | ||

Physical Demands | ||
While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, reach, stoop, kneel, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, telephone, keyboard, and occasionally lift up to 60 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, color vision and the ability to adjust focus. | ||
Work Environment | ||
Work will be performed in a variety of conditions including climate-controlled office environment(s) and in a farm environment including working outdoors in seasonal conditions with live animals and at times in dusty environments. This position requires the individual to wear and work in personal protective equipment while in the farm environment. This individual may be working around sick or diseased animals where additional precautions may need to be taken. The noise level of the office and farm environment is usually moderate. Showering in and out of farm locations may be required. | ||
Travel Requirements | ||
Required to travel up to 100% of the time visiting one of our farms pending project needs. | ||
