Join Adventist Health as a Mammography Technologist, where you'll perform specialized examinations to aid in the diagnosis and treatment of breast disease, contributing to patient care in a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
Completes patient education regarding the exam while promoting privacy and comfort for the patient.
Performs diagnostic or screening mammogram as ordered.
Prepares for and assists the Radiologist in intricate mammography examinations, including breast biopsies.
Produces high quality films for the radiologist to evaluate.
Obtains pertinent patient information and disseminates subsequent patient preparation instructions.
Elevates questions, problems and significant challenges to more senior staff for direction.
Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology
Oregon Board of Medical Imaging (OBMI) Radiologic Technologist License
American Registry of Radiologic Technologists – Radiography (ARRT-R)
American Registry of Radiologic Technologists – Mammography (ARRT-M)
Basic Life Support (BLS OR HS-BLS OR RQIBLS) certification
