Local Contract Nurse RN - Cardiac Cath Lab - $65-67 per hour

This position is for a local contract Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in the Cardiac Cath Lab, working 36 hours per week over a 13-week period in Anchorage, Alaska. The nurse must have recent experience in at least three cardiac-related service lines including EP, IR, Neuro, Vascular, Cardiac, and TAVR, and hold relevant certifications and an Alaska RN license. The role involves working day shifts, participating in on-call rotations, and using specialized equipment such as Philips c-arms and Epic EMR systems.

  • Day Shift – 3 teams M-F 7a-730p
  • Night Shift & Weekend – on call
• Team ratios – Run 4 man teams for certain types of cases, otherwise 3 main teams
• Type of equipment – Philips c-arms, Merge vericis for hemo system,
• EMR – Epic
• Typical Procedures: All service lines- EP, IR, Neuro, Vascular, Cardiac & TAVR (must have experience in at least 3 of these modalities)
• Must be part of call rotations

Must Haves: - An ASN degree minimum, BSN preferred - A recent 12 months of Cath Lab RN experience in an acute hospital setting - Must have experience in at least 3 of these service lines: EP, IR, Neuro, Vascular, Cardiac & TAVR - AK RN License - BLS and ACLS Certifications Preferred or Nice to Have: - Preferred to have experience in at least 4 of these service lines: EP, IR, Neuro, Vascular, Cardiac & TAVR - MediTech Experience - Travel Experience
