Job Description
Join Raytheon as a Senior Manufacturing Development Engineer, where you will lead projects to enhance manufacturing processes and collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure product readiness for production. This role combines technical expertise with innovative problem-solving to drive efficiency and quality in manufacturing.
Key Responsibilities
Develop Manufacturing Data Packages (MDPs)
Provide technical input and peer review to engineering designs
Provide technical guidance to factory engineers
Resolve constraints and improve process and product designs
Serve as the manufacturing authority within the program
Participate in corrective action investigations
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in STEM (Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial, Chemical, or Electrical Engineering)
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
Experience working in manufacturing production
Experience with manufacturing process development or improvement
Preferred Qualifications
Ability to identify and reduce cost, quality, and schedule constraints
Technical drawing interpretation and proficiency with CAD tools (preferably CREO/ProE)
Hands-on mechanical aptitude
Experience with technical writing and MRP systems
Experience with Manufacturing Readiness Assessments
Current DoD security clearance (secret)
