Join Lincoln Electric as a Designer/Drafter and play a crucial role in supporting our Plant Engineering team. You'll be responsible for 3D modeling and 2D drafting, implementing capital projects, and collaborating with various departments to enhance our engineering capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
Support Plant Engineers with creation and modification of 3D models and detail manufacturing drafts
Reverse engineer components from physical parts or legacy drawings
Create, modify, and store electronic files using document management systems
Assist in the development and maintenance of templates and schematics
Maintain mechanical CAD procedures and standards
Support internal and external fabrication by creating supporting files
Document existing production and facility support equipment
Required Qualifications
High School Education or GED
3 years professional experience in design and drafting
Proficient in Solid Edge, SolidWorks, Catia, or NX
Familiarity with AutoCAD
Experience with data management systems (PDM/PLM) using Autodesk Vault or Siemens TeamCenter
Experience with measurement tools such as micrometers and calipers
Basic computer literacy and familiarity with Microsoft software applications
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Problem-solving mindset
Preferred Qualifications
Exposure to machine shop or metal manufacturing processes
Highly motivated to learn 3D CAD drafting and detail print making skills
Organized and detail-oriented
Self-motivated with a high level of ownership
