Location: Essex County Sheriff's Department in Lynn, MA with the Supporting Transitions and Reentry is a Community-Based Reentry Program (STAR) that utilizes assessment, group treatment, and relationships with community services for justice involved individuals.
Schedule: Monday - Friday, Full-time
Pay rate: $90,000/annually

The Clinical Director is responsible for:
The oversight of clinical and case management services delivered at designated site or program(s) Ensuring that clinical services are being delivered in accordance with Spectrum’s clinical philosophy and design, in accordance with evidence-based practices Working closely with the Contract Support Manager and ECSD management staff to ensure smooth operation, the delivery of quality services, and the coordination of all clinical services Observing group facilitation for each supervisee and completes Group Quality Inventory to ensure performance meets Spectrum standards Maintaining comprehensive current clinical skills, competencies, licensure and certification as required Working closely with Spectrum management and staff to ensure a seamless continuum of care within Spectrum’s various treatment modalities Providing orientation for newly hired clinicians Ensuring that the interdisciplinary treatment planning, case reviews and conferences are being conducted and documented per Spectrum’s protocols Developing an ongoing staff development and training plan for clinical staff in coordination with the Contract Support Manager and other Clinical Directors Assisting with crisis management and other emergencies as needed Maintaining adequate knowledge of the programs’ emergency preparedness plan and emergency procedures
Qualifications:
Master's degree in social work, counseling, or related field required Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor or Mental Health Counselor or closely related license in the fields of addiction or mental health required Minimum of two years of supervisory experience in counseling preferred Minimum of three years experience in a substance abuse, mental health, or other related behavioral health program required Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel preferred Must display the use of appropriate independent judgment to determine appropriate course of action in resolving problems and in emergencies
