Key Responsibilities
Provide outpatient rehabilitation services in an in-home setting for older adults
Organize and conduct occupational therapy programs to facilitate rehabilitation
Supervise Occupational Therapy Assistants and support personnel
Ensure adherence to treatment schedules and documentation requirements
Consult with rehabilitation team members and adapt plans of care
Promote a safe environment and manage supplies and equipment
Screen, examine, and evaluate patients to establish diagnoses and treatment goals
Instruct patients in skills and techniques for functional activities
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in an occupational therapy curriculum accredited by ACOTE standards
Initial registration from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy
Valid and unencumbered occupational therapy license as required in the state of practice
Valid driver's license or reliable, independent transportation
