Key Responsibilities
Provide basic nursing care and assist in resident assessment
Document assessments and communicate changes in resident conditions
Participate in care planning and update care plans as needed
Implement nursing interventions and ensure timely medication administration
Monitor residents' care and identify behavioral changes
Assist with residents' activities of daily living (ADLs)
Required Qualifications
Education from an accredited school of nursing resulting in LPN
Current LPN license in the state of employment
CPR and AED certification required or willing to obtain
IV certification required or willing to obtain
Ability to assess basic nursing care needs of geriatric residents
Excellent communication skills
Time management and organizational skills
Ability to stand and walk for long periods
Ability to lift heavy objects using proper techniques
Ability to transfer and move patients weighing 200+ lbs
Ability to push and pull equipment over 40 lbs
Manual dexterity and coordination
Visual acuity to distinguish colors
Ability to perform documentation electronically and in writing
