Unit Name: Cardiology-4A/4B - This is cardiac stepdown.
- 4A: More cardiothoracic and cardiovascular surgery
- 4B: Smaller procedures, drips, CHF patients
Charge Nurse: Clinical Supervisor
Nurse Aides Ratio: 1 to 10
Nurse to Patient Ratio: 1 to 5
# of Beds: 44 beds total, including 8 semiprivate rooms (16 beds)
Scrub Color: Caribbean Blue
EMR: Meditech
Tele: Yes, Phillips
Nurse's Responsibility: Must read and interpret strips
Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend
Shifts: 6:45 AM and 6:45 PM
