Duties
- Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals and corporations.
- Conduct thorough financial analyses to identify tax-saving opportunities.
- Collaborate with clients on financial planning strategies related to tax implications.
- Provide tax due diligence support for mergers and acquisitions.
- Oversee accounts payable processes to ensure timely payments and compliance.
- Perform general ledger reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records.
- Provide insights on private equity transactions and their tax implications.
- Stay updated on changes in tax legislation and regulations affecting clients.
- Travel as needed to branch offices.
- Adaptability to diverse work environments.
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration across locations.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of financial analysis and financial planning techniques.
- Proficiency in corporate accounting practices and principles.
- Experience with mergers and acquisitions, including related tax considerations.
- Familiarity with accounts payable processes and general ledger reconciliation.
