As a Nursing Supervisor, you will lead and coordinate patient care activities during your shift, ensuring high-quality service and effective resource management. You will play a key role in fostering teamwork, improving patient satisfaction, and supporting staff development.
Key Responsibilities
Promote and maintain quality patient care through effective management
Allocate resources for efficient patient care
Provide clinical and administrative leadership
Facilitate interdisciplinary team relationships
Evaluate quality and appropriateness of patient care
Participate in quality improvement projects and initiatives
Assume responsibilities in the absence of the Administrator
Respond to emergent situations and coordinate staff response
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree or currently enrolled in such a program
Current Registered Nurse license from the State of Connecticut
Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification
Minimum three (3) years of nursing experience in an acute care setting
