Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform insurance verification on the date of service
  • Check out patients using Phreesia platform
  • Obtain patient signatures for required documents
  • File and maintain medical records
  • Answer incoming and outgoing telephone calls promptly
  • Schedule specialist and follow-up appointments
  • Adhere to administrative policies and maintain patient confidentiality
  • Cross-train and assist in other locations as needed

Required Qualifications

  • 1+ years of customer service or healthcare related experience
  • 1+ years of knowledge of medical terminology
  • Intermediate level of computer proficiency (Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word)
  • Ability to travel 10% to cover other offices as needed

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1+ years of experience working in a medical office
  • Experience with electronic health records (EPIC)
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish)
