Key Responsibilities
Perform insurance verification on the date of service
Check out patients using Phreesia platform
Obtain patient signatures for required documents
File and maintain medical records
Answer incoming and outgoing telephone calls promptly
Schedule specialist and follow-up appointments
Adhere to administrative policies and maintain patient confidentiality
Cross-train and assist in other locations as needed
Required Qualifications
1+ years of customer service or healthcare related experience
1+ years of knowledge of medical terminology
Intermediate level of computer proficiency (Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word)
Ability to travel 10% to cover other offices as needed
Preferred Qualifications
1+ years of experience working in a medical office
Experience with electronic health records (EPIC)
Bilingual (English/Spanish)
