Key Responsibilities
Assist patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, and eating
Observe patients’ progress and prepare reports for medical staff
Obtain and record patients' vital signs and collect specimens
Provide basic patient transport and housekeeping duties
Measure and record patients' intake and output
Assist in providing treatments and perform technical procedures
Required Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent
Active certification in Texas
BLS certification within 30 days of hire
Completion of approved CNA or PCT certification
Preferred Qualifications
5 years' experience in acute or long-term care
In senior year of nursing school with less than one semester to complete
