Key Responsibilities
Own the review of and decision making related to plan underwriting information for new sales opportunities
Evaluate and implement existing client stable value contract modification requests
Lead and contribute to projects related to product changes and new product offerings
Review stable value investment portfolios
Build and maintain pricing and risk analysis models
Determine new business and in-force crediting rates for stable value contracts
Analyze risks and underwriting considerations and participate in contract negotiations
Perform experience studies and set assumptions
Present complex analyses and concepts to executive management
Solicit and analyze competitive data
Influence and contribute to ongoing business strategy and growth
Required Qualifications
8+ years of related experience in the financial services industry
4+ years of stable value experience
1+ year of synthetic GIC product, contract and risk experience
Preferred Qualifications
Certified ASA or FSA or CFA with experience in ALM, investment portfolio development, investment risk analytics
Knowledgeable in aspects of stable value or Insurance Company General Account products
Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills
