Key Responsibilities
Provide educational leadership to enhance specialized patient care in Intensive Care Units
Assess quality of care for specific patient populations
Coordinate and implement orientation of nursing staff
Collaborate with medical providers and unit management for educational curricula
Monitor trends and implement educational strategies for quality compliance
Participate in teaching and coaching of staff nurses and healthcare professionals
Utilize evidence-based practice in clinical procedures and educational materials
Required Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
Current Registered Nurse license in Connecticut
BSN from an accredited University
Basic Cardiac Life Support certification
Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification
At least 5 years of progressive experience in clinical practice, nursing education, or nursing management in an acute care setting
Preferred Qualifications
Master's Degree in Nursing
Basic certification in Education/Critical Care Nursing
