Join Performance Foodservice as a Class B Diesel Mechanic Technician, where you'll play a vital role in maintaining our fleet of trucks and trailers, ensuring safe and efficient operations to support America's food distribution system.
Key Responsibilities
Perform preventative maintenance on medium to heavy-duty trucks and trailers
Ensure compliance with State and Federal trucking regulations
Document work orders for repairs and preventative maintenance
Inspect and repair brake systems, steering mechanisms, and other important parts
Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes and equipment lubrication
Install, replace, and repair onboard computers
Perform road call services as needed
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent Experience
2+ years of proven medium to heavy-duty vehicle repair
Experience with PM's, tire & wheel, air & air disc brakes
Diagnosis and computerized diagnostics
Electrical troubleshooting and electronic component repair
Experience in A/C refrigeration
