Key Responsibilities
Lead development, integration and documentation of structural requirements
Coordinate with other engineering groups
Guide product design and verify structural integrity using analytical methods and simulations
Lead development of test plans and analyze test results
Define and document certification and test results
Support in-service products by investigating failures
Develop analytical processes/tools to improve development effectiveness
Required Qualifications
Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
9+ years of work-related experience with a Bachelor's degree OR 7+ years with a Master's degree OR 4+ years with a PhD
Experience with conventional metal structure stress analysis AND/OR composite structure stress analysis
Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience with aircraft control surface structures
Demonstrated engineering knowledge as a mid-level or experienced stress analyst engineer in Structural and/or Aerospace industry
Prior technical lead experience reviewing stress analysis of peers
Ability to build and run Finite Element Models (FEMs)
