Key Responsibilities
Aero-performance analysis of tactical aircraft configurations
Wind tunnel test planning, execution, data analysis, and post-test documentation
Aerodynamic database development from wind tunnel, CFD, and flight test data
Integration of aerodynamic data into 6-DOF simulation tools
Flight test planning, execution, and data analysis
Uncertainty Quantification (UQ) and analysis of aerodynamic data
Required Qualifications
Bachelor of Science degree in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science
5+ years of engineering experience with a Bachelor's or 3+ years with a Master's or work-related experience with a PhD (Level 3)
9+ years of engineering experience with a Bachelor's or 7+ years with a Master's or 4+ years with a PhD (Level 4)
3+ years of experience in Aerodynamics and/or Aero-Performance
Experience conducting wind tunnel testing
Active U.S. Secret Security Clearance
Preferred Qualifications
Understanding of aerodynamic and propulsion factors impacting vehicle performance
Experience with uncertainty quantification and integration of analysis codes
