We're seeking an experienced and skilled CT Technologist to join our dynamic team on a temporary assignment. As a Traveling CT Technologist, you'll have the opportunity to work in a variety of settings, including hospitals and imaging centers, while gaining valuable experience and building your professional network.
Overview
As a CT Technologist, you'll be responsible for operating imaging equipment, preparing patients for exams, and ensuring high-quality images are captured. You'll work collaboratively with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care. This assignment offers the flexibility to travel to different locations, experience new environments, and develop your skills in a fast-paced setting.
Required Skills
- Current CT and radiology ARRT certification
- Prior travel experience (highly preferred)
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in CT technology
- Epic experience from within the past 2 years (non-negotiable)
Nice to Have Skills
- Experience with IVUS (intravascular ultrasound)
- Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMRs)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Education and Experience
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in radiologic technology or a related field
- Experience working in a hospital or imaging center setting
Other Requirements
- Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Willingness to work 2 out of 4 holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, Christmas Eve, and New Year's Day)
- Reliable transportation (personal vehicle or rental vehicle strongly recommended)
- Vehicle equipped with all-season or snow tires during November-April
- Bi-weekly orientations on Mondays (next available is 9/29)
- Complete all employment gaps over 90 days and provide accurate work history information
