Travel Nursing Job Details

• Location: Dubuque, Iowa (52001) – Iowa healthcare jobs
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (12/1/2025 – 3/2/2026)
• Shift: 12-hour nights (6:30 PM start), 36 hours per week
• Schedule: Every other weekend, including holiday rotation
• Unit: Resource Team (Float Pool)
• EMR: EPIC
• Bed Size: 63
• Patient Ratios: 1:4-5
• Scrub Colors: Pewter Grey

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of recent experience in Med Surg, Med Tele, or IMCU
• Completed a previous travel nurse contract within the last 12 months (no first-time travelers)
• Proficient with EPIC EMR
• Active Iowa RN license
• Certifications: ACLS (AHA), BLS (AHA), NIHSS
• Ability to float across General Med Surg, Rehab, and Behavioral Health units
• Skilled in administering Heparin and Insulin drips
• Required: submission of work history/resume, recent skills checklist, license verification, certifications, and references

Nursing Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to Med Surg, Rehab, and Behavioral Health patients
• Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care
• Administer medications and manage Heparin and Insulin drips
• Accurately document patient care in EPIC EMR
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team for optimal patient outcomes
• Float to various hospital units as needed
• Participate in holiday and weekend rotations
