Rang Healthcare is seeking a travel nurse RN Pediatric Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

Registered Nurse (RN) – Medicine Pediatrics (Float Pool)

Location: Oklahoma City, OK
Shift: 3x12-hour shifts | 36 hours/week | Weekends, and Holidays as Required
Assignment Duration: 11/17/2025 – 02/14/2026

 

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care and assume responsibility for an assigned group of pediatric patients.
  • Administer medications, monitor IV infusions and blood products, and document all patient responses accurately.
  • Assist physicians during examinations and minor procedures.
  • Observe and assess patients’ physiological status, intervening as necessary.
  • Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, hospital procedures, and discharge instructions.
  • Coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams and make appropriate referrals for patient needs.
  • Delegate appropriate tasks to support staff and ensure quality standards of care are maintained.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Minimum 1 year of recent RN experience
  • Knowledge of nursing theory, techniques, and procedures
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to adapt to changing patient conditions and work collaboratively within a team
  • Basic computer proficiency

Education:

  • Required: Associate’s Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited program
  • Preferred: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)

Licensure & Certifications:

  • Active RN license issued by the Oklahoma State Board of Nursing or Compact Multistate RN License (eNLC)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) – American Heart Association
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) – American Heart Association
