Job Description
Join ABF Freight as a Local CDL-A Truck Driver in Sioux City, IA, and enjoy home daily routes with competitive pay of $30.99/hour and excellent benefits. You'll be responsible for the safe loading, unloading, and transport of cargo while adhering to all safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Load and unload cargo
Operate a forklift as needed
Exercise independent judgment on trailer building and tearing down
Complete routine paperwork and log loading sheets
Perform various tasks including check-in, tractor/trailer inspection, and cargo pickup/delivery
Required Qualifications
Minimum 21 years of age
Good, stable work record
Safe driving record
Pass DOT pre-employment drug screen
Meet DOT medical requirements
Class-A CDL with doubles/triples, tanker, and hazardous materials endorsements
Preferred Qualifications
1 year of verifiable tractor/trailer experience
