MUST BE FLEXIBLE WITH WEEKEND REQUIREMENTS, WEEKEND REQUIREMENT WILL BE BASED ON UNIT NEEDS. TRAVELERS MUST BE ABLE TO WORK 50% OF THE WEEKENDS IN THEIR CONTRACT.
IU Health University and Methodist are teaching facilities and require all travel nurses to agree to the possibility of precepting and/or being assigned students to shadow them while on assignment.
Certification Requirements: BCLS, ACLS, NIH, PALS, and TNCC
Traveler must have IN/Compact license in hand or have submitted their fingerprint application package for their license to apply for this position.
Locals: NOT accepted.
Skillset Requirements: Minimum 3 Years of Acute Care RN Experience, Level 1 Trauma Center, STEMI & Stroke Certified Facility, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Blood Product Administration, Phlebotomy, Starting IVs, Continuous IV sedation, IV vasopressors, Procedural Sedation Administration, CVA, Traumatic Brain injury, Ortho-Trauma, CPAP/BiPAP, Interpretation of ABGs, Ventilated patients, Isolation Precautions, Triage, and Cerner
Staffing Ratios: 1:4
Patient Diagnoses: Level 1 Trauma, Level 1 STEMI, Comprehensive Stroke, Level 1 PE
Special Equipment: Alaris IV pumps, Belmont blood transfusers, Stryker beds, Philips monitors
Shift Info: Night 4x12-Hour (18:00 - 06:30)
