Key Responsibilities
Perform diagnostic procedures on patients using ultrasound waves
Examine tissue and body structure to provide quality images for interpretation
Conduct abdominal, pelvic, gynecologic, small parts, Doppler studies, and interventional procedures
Assess each patient’s individual age-specific needs
Required Qualifications
Graduate of an Accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program specializing in Sonography
Credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) obtained prior to hire date
Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer – ARDMS or RDMS
Proficient in real time, color flow, Doppler, transvaginal, biopsies, interventional procedures
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with various ultrasound procedures
Ability to assess individual patient needs
