Job Title: Electrophysiology Technologist
Location: Bridgeport, CT 06606
Shift: M-F, no call no weekend. 7a-5:30p
Travel Pay Rate: $3604 weekly ($49.50/hr on w2 + $1624/week stipend)
Local Pay Rate: $80 per hour on W2
Position Summary: - At least 1 year of electrophysiology experience or 3+ interventional experience EP Lab experienced technician, with either CVT background and RCES certification or interventional technologist background with ARRT certification.
- This is a very busy EP lab that does complex ablations using Carto and Ensite systems, including PFA technology, implanted devices/pacemakers/loop recorders.
- Unit Size/Beds: 2 EP labs Expected
- Ratios: 2 techs and 1-2 RNs per case (depending on nature of the case)
- Cases seen: 2-6 per day between two rooms.
Responsibilities
- Assist physicians during electrophysiology procedures, including cardiac catheterization and diagnostic evaluations.
- Monitor patient vital signs and ensure the maintenance of aseptic technique throughout procedures.
- Utilize telemetry equipment to assess cardiac rhythms and respond to any abnormalities.
- Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process and addressing any concerns.
- Maintain accurate records of procedures performed and patient responses.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive care plans for patients.
- Stay current with advancements in electrophysiology technology and techniques.
- Participate in ongoing education and training to enhance skills and knowledge in the field.
Required Qualifications:
- ARRT Certification
- BLS from (AHA)
