Job Description
Join Healthcare Services Group as an Environmental Services Department Manager, where you'll lead housekeeping, laundry, and floor care teams in a long-term care facility. This role is crucial for enhancing the customer and resident experiences, making a positive impact on the community.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and supervise housekeeping, laundry, and floor care staff
Perform and lead teams in light and heavy housekeeping duties
Lead staff training, quality control, and in-service sessions
Maintain records of income, expenditures, supplies, personnel, and equipment
Act as liaison between building occupants/administrators and HCSG staff
Ensure safe use of cleaning solutions and adherence to safety precautions
Maintain consistent attendance, punctuality, and timely completion of tasks
Represent HCSG positively through courteous interactions
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Two years of experience in healthcare housekeeping and supervision preferred
Positive attitude and effective communication skills
Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination policies
Ability to lift/carry a maximum of 50 pounds
Ability to stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods
Ability to perform routine, repetitive tasks continuously
Ability to work around food and cleaning products
Ability to follow oral and written instructions
Residency within the service area required
