Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet patients and guests using AIDET to provide excellent patient service
  • Perform patient registration and update demographics and insurance information
  • Utilize technology to assist patients and manage appointments
  • Collect co-pays and manage cash drawer
  • Document patient outreach and communications in a timely manner
  • Maintain knowledge of regulatory standards and uphold ethical conduct

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Customer service oriented attitude
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Proficiency in patient registration, scheduling, medical insurance pre-certifications, authorizations and referrals

Preferred Qualifications

  • One year of recent registration or billing experience in a medical facility
  • Epic experience
  • NAHAM Certified Healthcare Access Associate (CHAA) certification
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Demonstrated performance of excellent customer service skills
