Key Responsibilities
Evaluate patients based on departmental standards
Conduct and modify evaluations based on patient symptoms and medical status
Treat patients with appropriate therapeutic techniques
Administer physical agents and manual therapeutic techniques
Educate patients/families on home exercise programs
Document in accordance with insurance guidelines
Supervise affiliated students
Participate in continuing education and community in-services
Required Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited program of Speech Language Pathology with a minimum of a M.S.
Current Connecticut license for Speech Language Pathology
Certificate of Clinical Competency from the American Speech Language and Hearing Association
Preferred Qualifications
Strong English communication skills, both verbal and written
Basic personal computer skills in Windows-based programs
