Key Responsibilities
Assist licensed staff in implementing academic adaptations and IEPs
Work with students individually or in small groups to support self-care and social/behavioral needs
Maintain a safe and conducive classroom environment
Provide timely support for students in crisis situations
Utilize various learning methods to enhance student engagement and outcomes
Required Qualifications
60 college credits or higher OR passing score on the Paraeducator Assessment (65%+ on Instructional Support and 70%+ on Knowledge and Application tests) OR passing score on the Paraprofessional Assessment (combined score of 460+)
Professional proficiency in English
U.S. Work Authorization
Preferred Qualifications
ParaPro Certification
Behavioral Technician or PCA experience working with children
Past work experience in a school setting with children with special needs
