Job Description
Join Ombudsman Educational Services as a Learning Lab Manager, where you'll empower high school students in a dynamic educational environment. This role focuses on fostering student growth, managing computer lab operations, and ensuring a safe, inclusive atmosphere for learning.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and oversee computer lab environment for high school students
Create a welcoming and inclusive lab atmosphere
Instruct and monitor students' use of academic platforms
Track student progress and behavior
Maintain accurate records of student data
Communicate regularly with stakeholders about student performance
Participate in meetings and collaborative planning sessions
Engage in professional development and respond to feedback
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or higher in education or a closely related field
Meet all state substitute teaching credential and/or licensing requirements
Prior experience working with children, preferably in an education and/or classroom setting
Prior experience and/or knowledge in alternative educational services for at-risk students
Advanced oral and written communication skills
Solid motivational skills and adaptability
Highly skilled in mentoring and coaching
Embraces feedback and continuous learning
Well-versed in relevant technology
