Sable Corporation is seeking a travel nurse RN Float Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Woonsocket, Rhode Island.
We are seeking a skilled and flexible Float Registered Nurse (RN) with strong cardiac experience to join our team in Rhode Island. This role requires the ability to work across Med/Surg, Telemetry, and Progressive Care Units (PCU) during night shifts. Ideal candidates will have experience caring for post-cardiac cath and cardiac patients, and be confident in handling diverse patient populations in a fast-paced hospital setting.
Provide safe, patient-centered nursing care in Med/Surg, Tele, and PCU environments
Monitor and interpret cardiac telemetry and respond to changes in patient condition
Care for post-cardiac cath patients and patients with acute cardiac diagnoses
Administer medications and manage IVs, oxygen, and post-procedure care
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and adjust care plans
Accurately document assessments and interventions using hospital EMR
Float between assigned units based on staffing needs
Participate in every other weekend rotation
Active RN license in Rhode Island or compact state (Required)
Current BLS & ACLS certifications (AHA) – Must be active at time of submission
Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg and Telemetry experience (Required)
Cardiac care experience, including post-cath patients (Required)
Strong clinical assessment, telemetry interpretation, and communication skills
Comfortable working night shifts and adapting to multiple unit types
