Key Responsibilities
Administer anesthesia care to adult ambulatory surgery patients
Document anesthesia notes on patient records
Engage in departmental education and training initiatives
Maintain accurate patient records
Participate in emergency resuscitative care
Required Qualifications
Graduate of Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Education Programs approved programs
Certified or recertified by the National Board on Certification and Recertification for Nurse Anesthetists
Master’s degree or higher in Nurse Anesthesia for hires after March 1, 2019
Current license to practice in South Carolina
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in anesthesia care
Proficiency in operation of anesthesia equipment
