Job Description

Join Global Medical Response as an EMS Clinical Coordinator, where you will oversee the Paramedic Clinical/Field Education Program, ensuring students receive high-quality clinical training and support. This role is vital in shaping the next generation of emergency medical professionals while collaborating with various healthcare institutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinates all aspects of the Paramedic Clinical/Field Education Program
  • Communicates with hospitals and EMS agencies to place students in clinical/field rotations
  • Monitors compliance with requirements of students and manages the clinical contract process
  • Develops and maintains relationships with clinical site managers and staff
  • Schedules clinical and field rotations
  • Supervises and observes students during clinical rotations
  • Evaluates student performance and documentation

Required Qualifications

  • Associate degree preferred
  • Must complete an approved instructor course within one year of hire
  • Must obtain and maintain instructor certifications (AHA ACLS Instructor, PALS, PHTLS Instructor) within one year of hire
  • Minimum 3 years of progressive field/clinical experience as a Paramedic or Registered Nurse
  • Certified Paramedic or Licensed Registered Nurse required
  • Current certification/licensure in the Program state

Preferred Qualifications

  • Supervisory experience preferred
  • NREMT preferred
