Key Responsibilities
Assess each call situation to determine the best course of action.
Utilize Paramedic skills on medical equipment and procedures.
Communicate with patients and loved ones to provide information.
Act as Paramedic team leader and take responsibility for scene management.
Drive the ambulance on 911 responses.
Work collaboratively with allied health and public safety personnel.
Required Qualifications
CA Driver’s License
CA State Paramedic Card
CA Ambulance Driver's License
American Heart Association Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS/PEPP, BTLS/PHTLS
Medical Examiner's Certificate
Confirmation of scheduled date for the EMS Orientation Webinar or certification of completion
High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
Preferred Qualifications
ICS 100, ICS 200, NIMS 700
