Job Description
Join Staples as a Business Development Executive in Technology, where you'll play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth by identifying and nurturing new business opportunities. With a focus on enterprise accounts, you'll leverage your expertise in technology solutions to build strong relationships and deliver tailored solutions for clients.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and cultivate new business opportunities to drive revenue growth
Aggressive pursuit of targeted Enterprise accounts
Execute Total Sales strategies to convert prospects to active opportunities
Prepare for consultative engagement with prospects through research
Collaborate with Staples sales teams to secure contractual relationships
Work with Sales Support Team to improve customer response times
Provide input to sales leadership regarding new programs and initiatives
Communicate effectively with C Level executives and vendor partners
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
High School Diploma/GED
3+ years of demonstrated successful strategic relationship-building and solution-selling experience in the Fortune 1000 and/or Global 500 market
Demonstrated experience prospecting and selling individually and in team selling situations
Proficient in the entire Microsoft Office Suite
CRM experience, preferably Salesforce.com
Expertise in identifying, scrubbing, and qualifying prospects based on defined target customer guidelines
Preferred Qualifications
5+ years of demonstrated successful IT strategic relationship-building and solution-selling experience in the Fortune 1000 and/or Global 500 market
Demonstrated analytical, negotiating, and problem-solving skills
Highly skilled at creating customer-facing presentations in PowerPoint and/or other various methods
Strong understanding of the IT industry with the ability to recognize, follow, and speak to industry trends
