Job Description
Join Cooper University Health Care as a Patient Services Representative (Per Diem) and be the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional service while managing registrations and appointments. This role is essential in ensuring a smooth patient experience through effective communication and administrative support.
Key Responsibilities
Greets patients and provides excellent service using AIDET
Performs full registration and updates demographic information
Utilizes technology to assist patients upon arrival
Makes and schedules appointments efficiently
Collects co-pays and reconciles cash drawer
Communicates effectively with multidisciplinary team members and patients
Maintains knowledge of regulatory standards
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent
Minimum one year of recent registration or billing experience in a medical facility
Excellent organizational, written/verbal communication, and teamwork skills
Demonstrated performance of excellent customer service skills
Preferred Qualifications
Proficiency in patient registration, scheduling, medical insurance pre-certifications, authorizations, and referrals
