Job Description
Join ABF Freight as a Local CDL-A Truck Driver in Fargo, ND, and enjoy the benefits of home daily schedules and competitive pay. You'll be responsible for the safe pickup and delivery of cargo, loading and unloading, and operating forklifts, all while ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities
Load and unload cargo
Perform check-in, tractor/trailer inspection, tractor setup, and cargo pickup and delivery
Exercise independent judgment regarding trailer building and tearing down
Operate a forklift as needed
Complete routine paperwork and log loading sheets
Required Qualifications
Class-A CDL with doubles/triples, tanker, and hazardous materials endorsements
Minimum 21 years of age
Good stable work record
Safe driving record
Ability to pass DOT pre-employment drug screen and meet DOT medical requirements
Preferred Qualifications
1 year of verifiable tractor/trailer experience
