Job Description
As a Retail Sales Supervisor at Staples, you will lead customer engagement initiatives and manage front-store operations. This role focuses on enhancing the customer experience, driving sales, and supporting team development in a dynamic retail environment.
Key Responsibilities
Champion customer engagement and oversee front of store operations
Focus on increasing sales, conversions, and service
Provide peer coaching and support to the store team
Perform Floor Leader role directing the team for customer experience
Complete daily tasks for merchandising and sales opportunities
Assist with operational tasks in partnership with the GM
Required Qualifications
1+ year experience selling retail products or services
Effective communication skills
Ability to work cooperatively in a high-paced environment
Experience coaching a team and/or supervising others
Ability to engage with customers and understand their needs
Ability to lift/move materials in the 10 - 50 pound range
Adaptability to changing business priorities
Ability to manage conflict in a nonconfrontational manner
Act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information
