Job Description
Join a dedicated team at a not-for-profit organization providing quality care for seniors as a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). In this role, you will deliver professional nursing care in long-term settings, ensuring the health and comfort of residents while working collaboratively with healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities
Provide professional nursing care for residents in long term care
Administer medications or treatments as ordered
Contribute to the assessment of residents
Document resident interactions and care outcomes
Counsel residents and their families on prevention and treatment plans
Required Qualifications
Graduate from an accredited practical nursing program
Currently holds an unencumbered Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license with State Nursing board
Minimum of 400 hours of experience as LPN at another facility
Must have attended a pre-licensure nursing program with supervised clinical experience
Preferred Qualifications
Associate degree in practical nursing
3-month previous experience in Long Term Care preferred
