Key Responsibilities
Perform a variety of duties in ambulatory settings including primary and specialty practices
Assist providers with patient care and handle clerical, environmental, and organizational tasks
Provide information to patients to help them utilize clinical services
Maintain knowledge of regulatory standards and ensure compliance in daily operations
Required Qualifications
Minimum one year of recent experience working in a medical facility as a medical assistant
Experience with Electrocardiogram (EKG), vital signs, venipuncture, capillary, and injection
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Current BLS/CPR certification through the American Heart Association
Preferred Qualifications
Epic experience
Excellent organizational, written/verbal communication and teamwork skills
